3 Events OE Participated in Respect of Hari Batik Nasional 2019!

Hari Batik Nasional 2019 was a celebration full of wonders and a milestone for us as we had three major events. Here’s a run through on what we did!

First, look on OExTokopedia Men & Women collection for the 10th year challenges of Intangible Batik at Museum Tekstil, Jakarta.

Next one is a collaboration with Swiss Embassy for Batik Design Competition. A competition where Finalists created their own Batik Motive and was made into ready-to-wear garments by our designers. The whole collection was showcased during a fashion show and conferenced in Kota Kasablanka.

Last one, supporting Unilever with Fashion and Ethnic Class. Founders of Oemah Etnik gave an ethnic business talk in the face of the Unilever Employees. There was a styling competition held too.

In the future, we hope we’re able to contribute to even more things to enliven Batik and further introduce Batik to people with all ages and all generations. See you next year!
