OE x Wilsen Willim - Siklus 3.0 New Cycle of Bloom at The Langham Fashion Soire

The morning at The Langham Hotel, Jakarta, began with a flurry of excitement. Our team and Wilsen Willim’s gathered early, filling the room with laughter, last-minute fittings, makeup brushes in motion, and flashes from backstage cameras. Between rehearsals and quick treats, every moment buzzed with anticipation. Every detail was handled with care, every touch driven by the same hope to make the day unforgettable.

A day earlier, on October 21st, the journey of Siklus 3.0 had quietly begun with an intimate Pop-Up on The Langham’s 5th floor. Guests were invited to experience the collection up close, to feel the fabrics, trace the batik motifs, and uncover the stories told through every line and stamp. It was a gentle prelude to what would soon unfold, a celebration of artistry, rhythm, and connection.

A Night Filled with Warmth

Then came October 22nd, the evening we had all been waiting for. Together with The Langham Hotel, the Indonesian Fashion Designers Council, and our muses: Alexander Poindl, Andre Patio Sinaga, Azizah Hanum, Chossy Latu, Evanny Wityo, Fabienne Nicole, Faradina Mufti, Gisela Martha, Ivan Gunawan, Maverick Jonathan, Michael Turangan, Mustanir Afif, Sanjay Mulani, Twinda Rarasati, and Yuki Sutama, OE x Wilsen Willim welcomed a new chapter with the unveiling of Siklus 3.0.

The show was filled with love, and the atmosphere carried a sense of togetherness that reached everyone in the room. There was a quiet yet powerful energy that tied everyone together, as if every look on the runway was a shared heartbeat. Through thirty-two captivating looks, heritage met modernity in perfect rhythm, weaving a vision of continuity and change.

After the show, the room came alive with warmth and laughter. Guests gathered and mingled, meeting new faces and reconnecting with old ones. Many came wearing Siklus pieces, each styled in their own way, a living expression of the collection’s spirit. With canapés and drinks in hand, conversations flowed easily. The weather outside might have been grey, but inside, the evening glowed with light, joy, and connection.

The artisans in Pekalongan once again used the stamped batik technique for this collection. The signature pinwheel motif remains at its heart, now reimagined through lines that feel simple yet quietly intricate. Each stamp connects to the next, leaving no gaps, just flow, just rhythm, like bonds that never break, like cycles that never truly end.

When we held the first finished pieces in our hands, we felt the harmony between tradition and today. Voluminous yet refined silhouettes, corset details, playful ties, and even unisex options came together beautifully. These were not just garments. They were stories made wearable, stories that slip easily into morning routines and linger gracefully through late-night dinners.

Everyday Batik, Alive

For so long, batik has been saved for “special occasions”, weddings, ceremonies, or kept behind glass as something precious and untouchable. With Siklus 3.0, we wanted something different. We wanted batik that breathes with us, walks with us, laughs with us. Pieces that do not wait in closets but live fully in the day-to-day, whether it’s a Monday meeting, a Friday night, or a quiet Sunday morning.

A Cycle that Continues
